To help promote aviation and collaborate with organizations with similiar goals as ours, individual Memphis Belles Members volunteered to assist OBAP with their 34th Annual Convention.

Additionally, members assisted with the National Project Aerospace Day held July 31 at the new Tennessee Air National Guard facility.

July 31, 2010   Financial Education Seminar and RedBirds Baseball Game

Memphis Belles members, friends, and family met at the Redbirds baseball game in the Morgan Keegan suite (which had air conditioning which was appreciated since the heat index's were in the 100's) for a brief 15 minute financial planning and estate planning followed by the baseball game and fireworks show.  The event was a huge success. The Redbird’s defeated the Omaha Royal’s 4-3!  A great time was had by all!

June 15, 2010   Social Networking Dinner

Memphis Belles members and friends met at the Grove Grill. The highlight of the evening was a member sharing her experience as a female pilot in Asia.  Sandra Stone, the President, started us off with some funny ice breakers and then went over a little business along with planning our next 6 months meeting schedule.

May , 2010   College Prep and Scholarship information at Embry Riddle

The Memphis Belles collaborated with the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Memphis Campus to present College Prep and Scholarship information for the membership as well as local youth.
